This is my Dreamwidth, then. I have existed inactively on LJ for some time, under the same name, but with people starting to move over here in light of LJ being shit, I figured it was time for a fresh start. I'm anonymously very active in lolitics, but would so like to get to know people under a username for a change, so do feel free to say hi! We may have already met without realising it. :)

ALSO - if I'm doing something wrong, please say so! I'm basically a n00b to these websites and need help. Help is good.

I'm on tumblr fannishly as smegandtheheads, if that helps.

I do plan to post a fic or two here, as well. Yay.

Yeah, XD, that's hard for me to do because they are politicians XD And so much of their lives (at least, so much that we can easily access) has revolved around politics! XD

Not to mention that no one writes my pairings - Ed Balls/Yvette Cooper & David Cameron/Harriet Harman. XD

True, true... although for me a lot of the fun comes from digging around what remains of their outside lives and finding out what makes them tick as people, you know? That's why I like the New Labour lot so much, what should have been kept to their personal lives just got completely tangled up in the party stuff and made it strange. :P

My sympathies! Although in fairness, Cameron/Harman was never going to catch on XD

I can do that with New Labour, too, no problem...but when it comes to Coalition, yeah, it's a lot harder. XD And New Labour was just so dysfunctional...it's like they are begging for fic, haha. XD

People have written nice DCam/Harriet fics! :P I'm just annoyed that I can never like the fandom otps...like, I hate hate hate Burnballs, hated them even before I started otp-ing Ed/Yvette! I just really hate 'lad-ish' pairings like that, and once I started shipping Ed/Yvette, my dislike of it just got worse, haha. >_____> And my favourite pairing out of the New Labour OT4 (Peter/Gordon) is the rarest one, too, last time I checked, smh. :P So all this combined just made it harder for me to stay in the fandom, lol.

Yeah, I was never that into Coalition pairings anyway. Not so much to do with the politics, more like... why them when there's so many more interesting dynamics to explore? XD

Oh I know, Mandelbrown is so ridiculously rare! Why's it your favourite? I would just write it all the time if Gordon wasn't so flippin' difficult -__-

XD well, the coalition was what really kicked the fandom off into what it is rn? :P (I remember years past, so little polit!fic...XD) And for a lot of people, Cameron and Clegg are pretty good-looking, for politicians. :P

Idk, I just feel like from what I've read, Peter could have possibly had a crush on Gordon at some point? XD;;; And I kinda loathe Tony (and used to ship him hardcore with George W. Bush, too....), so....XD
